Description: There are few information available on the Committee member Alberto Cauvin. From the local newspaper "La Stampa", we understand he was the head of the company, "Cauvin Industrie" founded by his father at the end of 19th century; able to speak several languages (including French, English and Dutch) he made several travels around Europe in order to learn from foreign experiences and increase his own commerce. In 1906, as exponent of the Liberal Monarchic Union Umberto I, he was elected town councilor of Turin; successively, he assumed various and important roles within the city's administration and, already in 1919, he served as "Assessore" of the "Divisione Economato" (steward's office).
